Kuju Entertainment Ltd. announced the development of Crush, a forthcoming PSP puzzle game to be publshed by SEGA Europe. The game will have players crush the 3D world i to form 2D platforms to solve puzzles and unlock secrets.

Crush’s storyline follows a rather unsettled man who’s become a nervous insomniac unable to turn his life around. He turns to hypnosis in desperation and works through his problems in his state in hopes of preserving his sanity.

“The studio’s strategy is to develop games that appeal to new audiences,” said Ed Daly, Kuju Brighton Studio Head. “We believe that Crush will appeal to PSP owners who prefer a real and cerebral challenge to mindless action. This game comes from a core idea we have had for a while and we are delighted to be making it a reality with SEGA.”

Crush will release sometime in 2007.
