2K Sports announced it’s involvement in the 2007 NHL All-Star week including the finals of the NHL 2K7 All Star Challenge Tournament Finals on center ice at the game. The NHL 2K7 tourney is the first national online tournament for NHL 2K7 and will have its semi-finals and finals held the day of the 55th NHL All-Star Game.

The Semi-Finals will be held at the 2007 All-Star Game Pre-Party Wednesday afternoon of NHL All-Star week from 3:00pm – 6:00pm CST in the Landmark Room. Marty Turco, All-Star goalie for the Dallas Stars, will MC the event. The finals will then take place on center ice during the All-Star Game’s 2nd intermission.

The tournament isn’t the only involvement of 2K Sport’s NHL 2K7 in the NHL All-Star festivities. Video game highlight reels supplied by 2K Games were used by NHL.com as part of the fan voting experience. NHL 2K7 video footage was also used to demonstrate the rules of the All Star Skills Challenge Tuesday of All-Star week before each event.
