Three new packages of Lumines Live! content will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 beginning Wednesday, 24th January at 2:00 EST. One will be available for free for Xbox Live Gold members while the other at a discount for a limited time.

The Heavenly Star Skin will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from Jan. 24 – Feb. 21 and will cost 150 MS points thereafter. Performed by a new group called Genki Rockets and produced by Q Entertainment’s own Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the song’s catchy and uplifting tune combined with equally striking video has caught the attention of many gamers and was recently nominated Best Song at the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards. Gamers can enjoy the music video in stunning HD and 5.1 surround sound as they play their way through the falling blocks.

For the same time period the Heavenly Star Skin is free, the VS. CPU mode and Puzzle/Mission Pack downloads will be available at 100 MS points each and 300 MS points each after Feb. 21. VS. CPU allows gamers to challenge the CPU, has skins and character designs that match each stages and theme and a bonus skin at the end of the challenge.
In Puzzle Mode, players attempt to create a certain shape by using the blocks, while in Mission Mode they are given a mission to clear all blocks within a specified amount of moves. This adds an additional 90 puzzles to solve and 40 missions to clear on top of what’s already included in the Standard version.
